Jannich Friis Petersen is an industry consultant specializing in strategy, M&A, growth, and data- driven decision-making, with deep expertise in digital marketplaces and the short-term rental sector. He brings over a decade of executive and operational experience, most notably from leading Spain- Holiday.com, where he guided the company from early-stage growth to a mature, market-leading platform. As CEO, he oversaw a team of 40 professionals and was responsible for defining and executing growth strategies across revenue optimization, digital marketing, product development, and operational scaling. Under his leadership, the platform expanded to over 30,000 holiday rentals
and attracted more than 24 million annual users.
Jannich played a central role in the company’s M&A process, leading strategic positioning and supporting the successful integration of Spain-Holiday.com into Holidu following its acquisition. This experience underpins his current advisory work, where he supports companies and investors on strategic direction, transaction readiness, post-merger integration, and scalable growth execution. In addition to his consulting work, Jannich is actively involved in the broader travel and proptech ecosystem. He is co-founder and VP Treasurer of AVVAPRO (the Andalusian Association of Tourist Homes and Apartments Professionals) and has served on advisory boards for industry
initiatives such as Vitur Summit and Caleta Homes.
Originally from Denmark and based in Málaga for over 17 years, Jannich works fluently across English, Spanish, and Danish. His approach is grounded in analytical rigor, pragmatic execution, and a strong focus on leveraging data to drive strategic outcomes.
